We support individuals and families on low income with a grant to help with the costs of gas and electricity; and voluntary sector organisations to provide services and activities for people in need. We are here to give our communities the chance to create a brighter future and the opportunity to thrive. Since 1811, we have given grants, advice and support to our local communities. This will continue and together we can build a happy, healthy and hopeful community.
We cover the following areas within the London Borough of Richmond:
For our fuel grants, we also cover the Mill Farm and Edgar Road estates
During our financial year ending 30 June 2021, we provided 1,847 fuel grants to homes in our area of benefit to the value of £895,670. The grant money is sent to the fuel company, to be credited to their customer's account.
We also awarded 76 community grants to the value of £1,354,600. The funding supported the work of the charitable sector, providing a range of services and activities to tackle need and improve quality of life for people living in our area of benefit. Full details of the grants awarded will be listed in our Annual Report 30 June 2021.
Thank you so much for the electricity grant. You have no idea what a difference this makes. I can face the winter now without worry and knowing I can have the heating on
I write to thank you very much indeed, as a disabled man I appreciate this enormously. This makes a huge difference to my wellbeing.
Congratulations to The Mulberry Centre volunteers who have been awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. The Mulberry Centre provides support and information for anyone affected by cancer. The charity is supported by a Hampton Fund community grant pic.twitter.com/SaDcvP63mX
