Relieving Hardship Event

On Wednesday 26th March we met with colleagues at The Exchange in Twickenham for our Relieving Hardship event. The event was attended by 60 colleagues from across the borough and provided an invaluable platform to discuss and share information on local issues as they relate to our new focus areas of financial, physical and emotional hardship. The event also provided an excellent opportunity to highlight the work of the great local organisations we are supporting.

Richard and Adele presented an update on the changes we are making to our funding priorities as a result of our new three-year strategy and our research partners, Rocket Science, presented early insights into their research on need within the community. They also facilitated discussions amongst the guests that will feed into their final recommendations. These will then be used to guide our funding priorities over the next couple of years. Click below to see a short video which provides a snapshot of the event, capturing the vibrant atmosphere and engaging debate. Our thanks to all those that attended and made it such a success.
