Here’s how we supported local people and organisations between July 2025 and the beginning of June 2026.

Over the last year, we gave out individual grants totalling £1,035.657. We awarded grants to families and individuals on low incomes across our local area to help with the cost of:
The number of applications for fuel grants is slightly lower than it was last year at this point (1,937 vs 1,972). This is the first time demand has levelled off year on year since the Covid-19 pandemic. But we’re spending 10% less on fuel grants in 2025/26 to manage the ongoing demand we’ve experienced.
We have given 51 organisations grants totalling £1,313,984, 15 of which are three year grants. Long-term funding is an important part of our approach, and are pleased that this year around a third of the organisations we fund are receiving multi-year grants. Our long-term aim is for this percentage to increase.
